SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL

Are you ready, kids?

We were brought on by Selladoor Theatre Company, in collaboration with Nickelodeon, to create brand new key art for The SpongeBob Musical. This bold, bonkers Broadway hit was making its UK and Ireland debut with a London run at the Southbank Centre.

The challenge was to create something fun, fresh and full of energy. It needed to feel as lively and colourful as the show itself, while giving SpongeBob a leading-man makeover that still stayed true to the character’s quirky charm.

Working with the brilliant production team and cast, we captured a vibrant underwater hero moment that’s all wide-eyed optimism and fizzy, theatrical joy.

The final artwork helped launch a nationwide tour and gave Bikini Bottom the splashy West End welcome it deserved.
